Lucy Solomon
MANAGING DIRECTOR
My knowledge and experience in leadership and management has been gained over the past 20+ years working in both the private and public sectors. In the past I have been in the un-enviable position of leading teams without a formal qualification and being left ‘to get on with it’.
Fast forward many years and my experience, knowledge, passion and drive for developing individuals and teams through qualification routes and mentoring is at the heart of all we do at Develerate. We love to celebrate your successes, achievements and to see people who don’t think they can, achieve the greatest outcomes. We have a team who will always go the extra mile (and they would go 500 more) just to see you smile when your certificate gets posted through your door.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
My passion for learning, personal development and progression has increased year on year and I am delighted to be working with Lucy at Develerate, as her ethos and passion encapsulates an enthusiastic, professional approach to learning that will certainly be “The Wind Beneath Your Wins”. My experience includes working in education, training and development, customer service, employer and partnership engagement and apprenticeships. I believe passionately in lifelong learning and the power of meeting the wants and needs of those who choose us, which is essential in order to achieve amazing results. We are all individuals who deserve to approach our learning and development in our own way and at Develerate, we pride ourselves on listening and responding to those we work with.
Khalil Ahmed
SKILLS COACH
Whatever your goal is in life, to achieve it you have to be consistent and passionate about what you’re doing. As a teenager I was passionate about retail and so I worked my way into retail store management at a young age through strong work ethic and consistently reaching excellent standards in practice. Within this role I trained leaders and many different levels, including team leaders and senior managers who went on to manage new stores on behalf of Morrisons. Later I decided to share my knowledge and skills train future leaders and managers and I have never looked back as I love shaping people who will the dynamic leaders of the future. Outside my work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, going for long walks in nature and I also enjoy swimming and watching Japanese anime
Claire Elmugadam
QUALITY MANAGER
When I left school I wanted to be a fashion designer but ended up being a retail manager! Now I am an experienced performance specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. I have a BA (Hons) in Business Management and I am highly skilled in delivering training, coaching and staff development training. I am passionate about supporting and developing individuals to achieve success and very experienced with teaching via distance learning, particularly CMI Level 5, 6 and 7 in Leadership and Management. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two sons. I like reading when I have the time and I absolutely love to travel and experience different cultures. My favourite places are Turkey and Africa.
